Tim Yorgey

ELDER, S

ENIOR PASTOR

Tim was born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania and is the second of three brothers. He met his wife Allison (Skrade) in college and God has given them three children: Hannah, Tim, and Katherine. They live in Spencer, Wisconsin. God has allowed him to teach for 12 years before He called Tim into the pastoral ministry. He graduated December 2020 from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Louisville Ky, with a MA in Church Ministry. Tim previously was the Family Pastor at Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay since 2016. He is looking forward to ministering to the church and the community of Stratford. God has given Tim a passion to see families grow to know God more and grow closer to each other. God has a wonderful plan for the family and Tim loves to encourage families to be what God has uniquely called them to be.

Caleb Cornelius

ELDER, FAMILY EQUIPPING PASTOR

Pastor Caleb and his wife Becky are from central Nebraska. They met in college at Grace University in Omaha, NE and have four children. Caleb graduated from Grace University with a degree in ministry.  He is also a graduate of the LTD program at Camp Forest Springs. Caleb spent several years as the Program Director of a Bible camp in Nebraska before being called to Stratford. Caleb joined CBC in 2021 as the Family Equipping Pastor.  He is enrolled at Southern Seminary and is pursuing a master’s degree in Christian Education.

Jeff Buck

ELDER

Jeff is originally from the Twin Cities and Shawna grew up right here in Stratford. They met in the Twin Cities and were married in 2004 and have 7 children. Jeff trusted Christ for his salvation when he was 26 and Shawna when she was very young. They moved to the Stratford area in 2014 to be close to Shawna's parents. Jeff and Shawna are enjoying small town living and have a desire to know the Lord better and serve Him however He leads.

Joe Cable

ELDER

Joe is from west central Wisconsin, while Deb is from northeastern Minnesota. Both enjoy the Midwest and its’ seasons. Having a burden to serve the Lord, they met at Wisconsin Rural Bible Crusade summer camp as staff members. They are now the directors of RBC, which is a Bible verses memory ministry for children and is located in Stratford, Wisconsin. Besides working fulltime with RBC, Joe drives school bus and has a tree trimming service. Deb is a registered nurse and works part time at the local hospital. They have four children: Joey, Ameilya, Lyndee, and Mollee. Joe and Deb are passionate about seeing young people come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and to see them grow to live for Him.

Kyle Jochimsen

DEACON

Kyle has been living in the Stratford area since he was 3 years old.  He started attending Community Bible Church at the age of ten.  His wife, Chandra, grew up in Bowler, WI until she was 12 years old, when her family moved to Stratford.  The two of them met at Stratford High school in 2002, and later married in 2010. 

God has blessed them with four wonderful children: Jaela, Kinslee, Austyn and Wyatt.  Kyle is a sheet metal worker in Wausau and has been in that trade since 2006.  Chandra is a registered nurse, and works at Corvel Corporation, as a Case Manager for workers compensation.  Their family enjoys the outdoors and Gods wonderful creation. They enjoy being a part of the CBC family and faithfully serving this church. 

Charlie Young

DEACON/FINANCIAL CLERK

Charlie and Lynda have been married for 39 years.  They have 10 children and 7 grandchildren.  Charlie has attended CBC his entire life.  We both love serving our church family in many ways.  Charlie grew up and took over the family’s farm.  Lynda grew up in Chicago and enjoys country living.

Kurt Jochimsen

DEACON

Kurt & his wife Pam both grew up in the Medford area and graduated from high school there. Kurt was actively involved in animal agriculture during his work career and have been retired since February of 2022. Pam has worked in the health care field since the mid-nineties as a registered nurse and as manager of different areas in the Marshfield Health Care System. Pam retired from her role in June of 2023. They have been blessed with 6 grown children and 29 grandchildren. They are expecting their first great grandchild around the middle of April 2024. Kurt came to be a believer in October 1989 and Pam followed shortly afterward. They have been attending Community Bible Church since 1995. They are humbled and honored to be a part of the leadership role and serving Community Bible Church as God calls them to do.

Gabe Anderson

DEACON

Gabe is a Menomonie native while Lauren was born in Marshfield but spent most of her life in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2021, Gabe and Lauren met at a CBC barn dance and were married six months later. In 2024 they welcomed their first child, Gus.  Gabe did youth ministry in Menomonie for nine years and also led a young adults group before getting married. Since then, he has gotten to know CBC well and is excited to serve the church in whatever way it needs.
